Zojirushi's Home Bakery Mini

There
are many reasons why more people don’t make bread
at home—it’s time-consuming, takes up way too
much space, it’s hard and yeast is such a pain to
deal with. Since breadmakers were invented, home cooks haven’t
been able to come up with as many excuses. Now, with Zojirushi’s
Home Bakery Mini Breadmaker, lack of space is no longer
an issue either.
Fans
of Zojirushi’s rice cooker will know that this company
is all about small, convenient appliances. This tiny machine
is completely different from the original breadmakers that
took up a microwave-sized space on the countertop. The Bakery
Mini is only slightly larger than the bread bucket inside,
and its lightweight design with a sturdy handle allows you
to use the machine as storage for your fresh bread. The
user-friendly LCD control panel comes with a multitude of
settings such as a choice of three different bread textures
(regular, firm and soft) and two different crust options
(regular and light). And for bakers who need another reason
to get up in the morning, there’s also a delay setting
that can start the baking during the early a.m. for an aromatic
wakeup call.
Although
its size only allows for a one-pound loaf, bread is not
the only thing you can make. This Zojirushi’s mini-bakery
can also yield cookie and pasta dough as well as cakes and
jams. The comprehensive instruction booklet contains recipes
for the basics and more elaborate creations such as brioche,
cinnamon rolls, croissants, cookies and scones.
